The Lab is the research unit of the White City Center, exploring various aspects of Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
The lab focuses on the study of urban space in the broadest sense and promotes studies related to urbanism, history, and culture. Our basic premise is that Tel Aviv-Jaffa - like any city - isn’t just the sum of its architectural monuments, but rather an extensive system of individuals and communities that maintain mutual relationships.
A city exists through the life it sustains, thanks to the diversity of people and their creative, theoretical, commercial, cultural, and other ventures.

This concept is part of HUL (Historic Urban Landscape), an approach developed by UNESCO, which views historical urban space as a merger of tangible and intangible elements - both should be investigated and preserved.
