Haus Walk: 4.6 billion Years of Life on Earth
Haus-Walk is a practical experience that invites participants to reconnect with the vital and dynamic relationship among all living beings on Earth. It serves as a reminder of what we may have forgotten: we are part of the vast web of life and genuinely belong here.
During a mindful 4.6 km walk, we will explore 4.6 billion years of life on our planet, Earth. We will delve into the most incredible story ever told—the story of life on this blue planet. Home-Walk provides an opportunity to experience the profound connection between our bodies and the body of the Earth. It is a journey through deep time, inviting us to marvel at the shared experience of life across the world alongside our own.
Guides: Mor Kadishson and Ido Peled
Meeting point: Stonehenge amphitheater in Hayarkon Park's rock garden.
* The tour is circular.
We will meet at the rock garden in Hayarkon Park, where the circle of Stonehenge rocks is located on the hill. We will embark on a walk, stopping at various points in the park to share stories and let our imaginations run free. The tour concludes at the edge of the Bavli neighborhood, specifically at 42 Hazohar St. Arrival at the meeting point:
The rock garden is a short walk from the main parking lot at Expo Ganei Hataarucha, the parking lot on Rokah Blvd opposite Luna Park, and the University train station. When you enter the park from Rokah, you will notice a large orange sculpture. The entrance to the park is located directly opposite the sculpture.
The phone number for the Liebling Haus desk on the morning of the event only is 052.4064968
During the walk, we will move, pause, observe, learn, read, listen, share stories, and invite ourselves to fall in love with the natural world.
This activity is part of the exhibition "Everything We've Learned So Far," currently on display in apartment no. 5. It includes events, educational activities, thoughts, ideas, and practices developed at Liebling Haus's City of the School since its inception.
