Guided tour in Exceptional: The White City - an Everyday Heritage
The main exhibition of The Liebling Haus presents the story of the White City’s modernist urban fabric. The show examines the challenges of designing and living in an urban environment declared a Heritage Site, providing tools to understand architecture’s social, political, and cultural role, and promotes relevant discussion.
The exhibition is on display in the ground floor apartment of the Liebling house. The first room includes the White City’s historical timeline, magazines from the 1930s and 1940s, and other materials. In the second room, we will focus on contemporary conservation. The third room (The Project Room) features changing exhibitions by various creatives and researchers exploring the question of What is the White City?
