Back to the Future: 50 Years to Apollo 11
After a four-day voyage aboard the Apollo 11 spacecraft, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon, planting the American flag on its surface as a message to those who will follow. The year is 1969, and Armstrong is the first person to step onto the lunar surface. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historic event, we will gather on the rooftop of the Liebling Haus, watch the full moon, and search the flag left by Armstrong and Aldrin using a telescope. Starting as soon as the moon rises, at 18:46 sharp. Not interested in live-action? Visit the Max&Tony Studio to watch the Moon Cinema loop, featuring a series of films exploring humanity's fantasy of conquering the moon.
